My husband – I know by now you all know I am obsessed with him but he is my best friend, adventure buddy, Netflix buddy, sous chef, and lover. If you have ever met him you know he is ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS brings the F-U-N. (Sometime a little too much- HA!) Our dates together mean so much to me. He also leaves me the sweetest notes when I get home from a work trip and I cherish each one so much. He is the best!
My family – They mean the absolute world to me. I feel so blessed that my best friends are my family. We have a family group text and all talk every single day. I totally recommend it because there is nothing better than getting pictures of what everyone is up to. Especially since my sister and future brother-in-law now live abroad..it is the best! Not to mention, I talk to my mom every single morning on my drive to work. Greg says I can’t make a decision without my mom..and he may be right! 😉 I also feel blessed to have the most supportive and loving Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law! Family is everything!
Friends – Many of you know that I moved to my husbands home town growing up… small town Indiana! At first, I was worried moving from downtown “city” life to a small town where there is just pizza and mexican to eat but I love it. I love it mostly because I am lucky enough to gain the best friends that live within a mile from our home. Greg’s best friends growing up also brought their wives back to their home town…hallelujah! These friends have quickly become family! I also cherish the time I get to spend with my friends growing up. Even though we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like due to us all living in different places, we start right where we left off when we do.
Working out/ Fitness – This is such a passion of mine. I write about it all the time but this is my form of “meditation.” Getting a sweat in keeps me sane, focused, gives me energy, and overall makes me happy. My husband and I love working out together. I also added fitness on there because I believe not only working out makes you feel good but also eating clean. Food is medicine! So, what also makes me happy is finding/creating recipes with my hubby that are a twist on traditional meals by making them healthier and still satisfying and delicious. I believe life is too short to not enjoy what you’re eating! It is all about making small changes that give you overall energy and make you feel good.
Coffee – Ok, I know this is silly but I love mornings and coffee. I am a total morning person and love sipping my coffee in the morning and having that “fresh start” feeling. My workout is done and I am ready for whatever the day has to offer. Drinking my yummy coffee with whip-cream gives me life. Yes, I know whip-cream probably isn’t the best for me but totally worth it. 😉 80/20 rule people!
